Is it possible to have different geniticized skins in your game?

I have pooklet's My poor lover skins (as defaults, townified, geniticized) and would like to have some more variety by adding her freckly skins Less pop concert, more butchery geniticized, too.

Do I have to mix and match, can I take all skins of both sets or what do I have to do?

hello, i dled the super nude patch from pandora (ver3) and it comes with an f-word mod. any way to get rid of it? disable?

and, i tried uninstalling the patch altogether but i got something about not being able to find the initialization file. D: i think i know the problem, i deleted all my sims files before for something... the file musta been in there. anyone know how i can uninstall?

I am seeking opinions on switching 100% pure alpaca for 100% pure wool which is the yarn that is suggested yarn to knit a heavily cabled cardigan. Is this a good idea?

I have not yet knit with pure alpaca and am wondering if this yarn can be substituted for wool with success. I'd hate to spend weeks knitting only to find out that I should have stuck with wool

For Christmas, my wonderful, but woefully needle-craft ignorant sister gave me three skeins of a lovely angora/wool blend. Unfortunately, she tore off the price label on all three, which also tore the brand label. I'm wanting to check this yarn out on Ravelry for ideas, but I have no idea what it is, my searches come up with nothing matching, and the LYS she bought it from is closed till Tuesday.

Under the cut is a photo of the label, in case anyone can recognize it. The unripped parts read -

Made in Italy. Suggested needles US 6 (4mm), suggested tension 22st x 30rows, 25g ball 125 yards. Content - 70$ Angora, (maybe)30% Wool(...this is where the rip starts, and i don't know if it may have a bit of a third fiber in it). Below the rip where the brand is - handwash only, max temp 30C, handle with care. suitable for dry cleaning with special treatment, advice should be sought from professional dry cleaner. cool iron, max 110 C, do not use chlorine based bleach, no tumble dry.

The label is baby pink with brown lettering (my camera phone is awful). The yarn itself is a lovely grey lavender/orange/pink variegated color, and for an angora yarn, it doesn't shed too bad. Its about a DK weight thickness.

i just had to reinstall all of the sims 2 because i got a new computer so im starting from scratch because i did not feel like using my old saved sims. Here is the beginning of a new story:) Hope you Enjoy:)

How does one safely rip out a few rows on circular needles? I'm a newbie with knitting in the round and need to go about 5 rows back, but I'm afraid to ruin the whole project.

Pattern: Instant Gratification Scarf
Yarn: Three skeins of Araucania Yarns "Magallanes" in colourway 303.
Needles: One 5.5 mm SRK bamboo circular
Details: I cast on 40 stitches and carried on until I was out of yarn; scarf is about one foot wide and a smidge over eight feet long. Because of the significant difference between the thickest and thinnest parts of the yarn, I worked stitches with the thin sections extra-loosely so that they wouldn't pull the scarf in. The patten lives up to its name ... the twisted drop stitch is very easy, goes by at light speed, and shows off this thick/thin yarn very nicely. Yarn note: Magallanes has no dyelots ... my three skeins (which were the last three orphans on a clearance shelf) had perfectly matched hues of green, but one skein was predominantly of that colour while the other two had greater amounts of cream, grey/green, and black/brown. I opted to use the greenest skein in the middle and the more varied skeins at each end ... the skein changes are detectable when the scarf is laid out flat in bright light if one is looking for them, but not when in its natural state of being draped/wrapped around shoulders/neck.

So, the last time I properly played the game must have been what, half a year ago. But then recently, I thought I'd try it again. I loaded the game... and noticed that I couldn't hear the tinkley sound when the plumbbob appeared. I continued to wait for it to load, and still no sound came on. I tried the neighbourhood, but saw that none of my sound options were muted. Frustrated, I closed the game and thought about it, but couldn't think of a reason this could be happening. I asked a friend, but she didn't know either. I took out my downloads and everything, but nothing I tried worked. I've just finished uninstalling and reinstalling all my games. (I have all EPs and SPs.) I opened the game, but still no sound.

This is really bothering me now, because I actually really like playing with all the funny sounds they make, but I have no idea, so I thought I'd ask here. Thank you in advance. I think that's it.

I checked the tags and couldn't find anything on it SO! My quest-schon.

I have a legit copy of the game. I'm currently installing it on my desktop, a gaming computer purposefully purchased to NOT go online and for just art/writing/sims2/sims3. I registered onto the website (again, yay legit copy!) buuuuut since I don't have the game on my laptop, it refuses to let me download it. :\ I really want this neighborhood but my lappy simply can't handle the sims 3. Is there anyway I can download it and then NOT play it? Move the riverview files to my desktop or would that just - corrupt everything?

The first part of the East Meets West bag is finished. The strap and bottom are worked as one piece in the round with a short row section that widens the bottom of the bag. The front & back are worked as one piece in the round and are steeked later. That's what's on my needles now.

Allo again...

After my last question, I wound up upgrading to Windows 7 32bit Pro. This is a totally clean machine, and a clean install of Sims 3 with no hacks or mods just the CC I got with my Sim Points from the EA store.

A little while ago, the game got to the loading Riverview page, the screen flickered, and it totally crashed my comp. I even had to do a rollback to my last good config to get Windows to start normally.

I checked the TS3 site and there is a known issue with the some Nvidia drivers making TS3 unplayable, but I'm using 195.62 released in November. The driver mentioned in the known issue is 191.07.

Has anyone else had this problem with an Nvidia card? I had this issue under XP as well, so I don't know if any drivers from 191.07 on are making TS3 unplayable or if it just doesn't like Win 7.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated fellow Simmers!

Okay so I updated a few weeks/last month (I can't really remember when) and it screwed up my game. Well I uninstalled just fine and just couldn't get it to install. It tells me there is NO memory available but well I KNOW there is.

My husband had to do a system restore last week and when he did he set it back to when my sims was installed I guess because it's there but I can't play it. Also when I try to uninstall I get this message

2.if i have a teaser on a community does that mean on my journal i have to make it all again just for my journal
3. do you know any other things that can help me
